Our clinical team consists of GPs, Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Clinical Pharmacists, Mental Health Nurse and a Paramedic. They are supported by our wonderful and longsuffering reception team and behind the scenes by the equally crucial medical secretaries, prescription desk staff , administrators and care coordinators who are overseen by our practice manager. Almost 60 people work at The Hart Surgery.
Each member of our team is vital to the smooth running of the surgery. The team is cohesive and supportive of one another and we try wherever possible to be flexible as we can and to make every single member of staff feel valued and appreciated. It really is a great place to work.

Medical Secretary Vacancy
PT 19.0 hours a week over Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday AM
Due to promotion, we warmly invite a friendly, experienced and efficient individual to join The Hart Surgery as a medical secretary. Whilst prior NHS experience is welcome, it is not essential. We are committed to supporting the right person in developing the necessary NHS knowledge.
We are looking for a dedicated medical secretary with a passion for making a difference to others. Key responsibilities include processing referrals, managing patient correspondence, liaising with hospitals and healthcare professionals and ensuring accurate, confidential record keeping.
Successful appointment will be subject to satisfactory references and a clear DBS check.
