Are You a Carer?

You are a carer if you provide unpaid support to a relative or friend who is frail, has a disability or a serious health problem. The Hart surgery is keen to support their patients who provide care for others. We recognise that looking after someone can impact on your own physical and emotional health.

We keep a Register of Carers and can add a note to your medical record which will enable the surgery to plan your medical care and support. By letting us know of your additional responsibilities, we will aim to offer you appropriate appointments to fit around your caring commitments.

So please let us know as we may be able to help you. Receptionist, Sue Blackstock is our Carers Champion but any of our reception staff will be happy to help you.
