The Hart Surgery Team

Our clinical team consists of GPs, Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Clinical Pharmacists, Mental Health Nurse and a Paramedic. They are supported by our wonderful and longsuffering reception team and behind the scenes by the equally crucial medical secretaries, prescription desk staff , administrators and care coordinators who are overseen by our practice manager. Almost 60 people work at The Hart Surgery.

Each member of our team is vital to the smooth running of the surgery.   The team is cohesive and supportive of one another and we try wherever possible to be flexible as we can and to make every single member of staff feel valued and appreciated. It really is a great place to work.

Our Current Vacancies:

Prescription Clerk

This a permanent position working between 8 and 16 hours a week across a Thursday / Friday (plus adhoc sickness and holiday cover)

Pay – £12.71 an hour

Job Summary
We are looking for a Prescription Clerk to join our friendly and supportive prescription team.  As a prescription clerk you will work alongside a team of prescription clerks and pharmacists as well as more broadly with other professionals within the surgery.

We are looking for an individual with strong communication skills and the ability to communicate with our patients and other colleagues in a professional manner. Previous customer service experience is desirable. You will be working in a busy and sometimes stressful environment, and you will become an important member of a friendly and supportive team. The role requires excellent literacy and numeracy skills and the ability to problem solve on a day-to-day basis relating to your work.
