Booking an Appointment using the NHS App

Open the NHS App on your phone or on the NHS Website (see https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-app)

1.  Once you are in, click ‘Service’ in the blue bar at the bottom of the screen
2.  Then click ‘Check for available GP appointments’
3.  Select an appointment type eg ‘Vaccination Flu and or Covid’*
4. Select a convenient clinic day
5. Book your appointment

*Note that not all our appointments are available to book online.  The reason for this is that so many of our appointments (particulary nurse appointments) need different lengths of time for different procedures and only surgery staff are able to merge appointments to accommodate this.

• GP appointments must always be requested via the triage form.
• Appointments that can be booked online include the following
  • Most vaccinations
  • Smear tests and contraception advice
